Port of Call

a piece of heaven

We believe that at many and various times in all our lives we need to search for that place where we can find tranquillity and harmony, where nature takes over and offers us its splendour and variety. A place to enchant and revitalize you. Welcome to our Port of Call … a little piece of heaven.

Your hosts, Lynne and John, aim to ensure you experience just this, combined with their great hospitality, from this owner-run guesthouse. Luxurious and spotless studio accommodation is well-appointed for self-catering, although scrumptious breakfasts are served to order in the privacy of your studio’s balcony, all in a beautiful setting.

Wonderful accommodation & best stay for our honeymoon - Thank-you xoxo

Port of Call is ideal as a tranquil haven from which to explore the wonders of the Western Cape. Day trips in all directions will allow you to experience the many beauties of the Cape, too many to mention. Our guesthouse is located high on the slopes of the Swartberg mountains in Simon’s Town and overlooks the ever-changing waters of False Bay, across to the Hottentots-Holland mountain range in the East. This coastline, where the two great oceans meet, is arguable one of the most scenic stretches of coastline in the world. See our Explore page for more information.

Don’t want to leave beautiful vista, wonderful hostess.
